Sunomono Salad

For a more intense flavour, marinate veggies in dressing up to 24 hours prior to serving.

Ingredients

  • 1 tray Mirabel Sushi Ebi, cooked, peeled & deveined tail-on shrimp #0603, thawed
  • 2 Daikon radishes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 2 carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 125 mL rice wine vinegar
  • 30 mL sugar
  • 5 mL sesame seeds, toasted

Method

Mix sugar and rice wine vinegar together until sugar is completely dissolved. Place mixture of vegetables into a salad bowl and garnish with shrimp overtop. Coat shrimp and vegetables generously with dressing and garnish with a sprinkling of sesame seeds.
