Here is a new addition to our breaded fish portfolio. Krunchie Basa Fillets which utilize a similar coating system as our Krunchie Perch and Krunchie Haddock Fillets. Basa is growing in popularity because it is a white fish that is mildly flavoured and very affordable.

Utilizing the Krunchie Basa Fillets as a fish sandwich shows off the beautiful flakey white textures of this fish. It eats extremely well inside a bun, and the unique coating system stays krunchie and does't absorb excessive amounts of oil from the deep fryer. In fact, they can be cooked in the oven, making them ideal for school cafeterias, and kids menus.

One of my favourite ways to enjoy this product is on top of a salad for a nice light lunch that doesn’t weigh me down. It slices without a problem after it’s been cooked, making it perfect to be utilized in a crispy fish taco, or wrap.
