This is not your ordinary breaded clam. What makes this one different is the size of the clam. Our Sea Watch Country Crispy Breaded Clam Strip Surfers are a bit thicker than the average breaded clam, so you truly taste the sweetness and textures. The coating is also very light, so it doesn’t taste like you’re eating a bread strip. This breaded clam can be enjoyed straight up on its own with a few spicy & sweet dipping sauces. It makes a great addition to an appetizer /bar menu, or as part of a combination platter.

Another way to enjoy our Surfer Clam Strips is inside a taco. It’s Ocean Wise approved and a great way to bring some East Coast Canadian flavour to your lunch menu.  These tacos were made with a tomato and papaya salsa and topped with a light drizzle of sour cream.

Man, I like the look and taste of this salsa. So vibrant and perfect for the spring & summer patio season!

Don’t feel like you have to have special taco holders in order to do seafood tacos. These can also be presented flat with a 4.5 inch soft tortilla.

Just center all the ingredients, which will allow the customer to pick it up neatly. I also find positioning the salsa on the bottom and placing the surfer clams on top, helps keep the salsa inside the taco.
