Introducing Our New Battercrisp® Salmon Bites

Check out our new Battercrisp® Salmon Bites. They are made with chunks of wild-caught Pacific Salmon which have been coated with our unique Battercrisp ® coating system. This product has a delicate, crisp bite which stays crispy even after being sauced. Simply deep fry for 3-4 minutes and they are ready to go.

How you present them depends on the style of operation. The above photo is what I call Salmon Lollipops. After the Salmon Bites were cooked, I simply skewered them and dipped each piece in a sauce. I used a trio of Sweet Chili, Maple Mustard, and Orange Ginger sauces. This would make a perfect fun and trendy passed hor d’oeuvre for a private function. It could also work as a sharable appetizer.

They also make great finger food in a casual environment. Most flavours that are suitable for wings are also suitable for our Battercrisp® Salmon Bites. I’ve tossed these in a smokey BBQ sauce.  Your dishwasher will be pleased with the  basket and liner presentation. Great bar snack and sharable appetizer! Other sauces that are trendy right now are BBQ Jerk and Sriracha with Honey & Lime.

Our Salmon Bites will help take your stir fry dishes to the next level. Most curious customers will take a half bite of the salmon and examine the inside.  I’m sure they will be happy to see that we use chunks of wild-caught Pacific Salmon vs a minced product!  Simply toss the cooked Battercrisp® Salmon Bites into the wok during the final stages of the stir fry.

They are designed to stay crisp even after being sauced and placed in the steam table/chafing dish. Just use a nice thick sauce, and replenish after 30 minutes if customers haven’t devoured them by then. This durability also makes them perfect for take-out containers.
