Save Labour & Food Waste with Mediterranean Glazed Haddock – 5 Recipes to Serve!
Sea Cuisine™ Mediterranean Glazed Haddock Portions are the ultimate labour and waste-saving seafood option for foodservice operators. Conveniently pre-glazed and pre-portioned, the haddock is ready to pop into the oven from frozen. The flavours of authentic Mediterranean herbs and spices in the glaze make it suitable for a wide variety of Mediterranean inspired seafood dishes.
To demonstrate the versatility of this product, here are five simple and flavourful recipes, using common ingredients from your fridge and pantry.
Looking for simple and inexpensive menu solutions to dress up seafood? You’ve come to the right place! Sea Cuisine™ Mediterranean Glazed Haddock Portions make it easy for you. Don’t be intimidated by the fancy name of this recipe… coperto simply means covered in Italian. The fish is topped with a seasoned crumb mixture before baking, to build on the delicious flavour and add interesting texture and crunch. The crumbs also hold in that delicious glaze, keeping the fish super moist, an added benefit when holding in a steam table.
To amplify the protein, serve the fish on a creamy cannellini bean purée made with Italian white kidney beans. If you don’t have any, sub with navy beans. Keeping with the “simple and inexpensive” theme, toss the ingredients into a food processer and blend until smooth. This purée also makes a flavourful dip and spread. Buon appetito!
Chef Hack: For an even easier option, use a ready-prepped, seasoned breadcrumb mixture as a topping for any glazed seafood from High Liner Culinary.
